Stop The Rot (“we”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect on this website and how we use it.
What we collect
If you comment, subscribe, or email us, you may give us a name, email address, and the text of your message. The site may also record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL, typically via cookies or a privacy-respecting analytics tool.
How we use it
To run the site, respond to you, send mail you asked for, improve the pages, and protect against abuse. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies
Cookies remember preferences and help us understand traffic. You can block them in your browser; some features may then fail.
Third parties
We may use hosted analytics or email tools. Those providers have their own policies. WordPress, our host, and security plugins may process technical logs as part of keeping the site up.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to law. You can unsubscribe from mail at any time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Donations
If you give via the Contribute page, Square processes the payment. Square collects the details needed to take the card, including name and payment information. We do not store your card number on this site. Square Instant Profiles is off, so a customer record is not created from your card automatically. Square’s own policy applies at checkout.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date above.
